Abruzzo - Isolated - Beautiful - Wild

Imagine a place where wolves still rome and wild boars pay you a visit:- the National Parks in Abruzzo have stunning scenery and wild life in abundance. In addition to the mountains and the three national parks, the coastine of Abruzzo, has miles and miles of white sandy beaches, against a back drop of pine forests. All within easy reach of the main airport of Pescara. For those of you who like shopping, Pescara, has many designer shops and boutiques, selling unique clothes and handbags at prices you can not resist.

For people who like activity holidays or extreem sports, Abruzzo has many bridle paths and cycle tracks and horse riding holidays can be arranged with specialist companies. Para-gliding, hang-gliding and mountineering, all take place in Abruzzo.
